My trusts and estates practice encompasses nearly 20 years of experience representing families and individuals in all aspects of planning for their current and future needs. My work is grounded in Maine – I was born and raised in Yarmouth and I returned to practice in my community. I aim to provide a comprehensive, approachable and efficient planning process for clients at all stages of life.
I look forward to celebrating the milestones, successes and joys my clients share with me, but I recognize my value is often felt most in times of conflict, confusion or loss. As we have all learned over the past few years, we cannot avoid the challenges life presents us. Providing support and practical recommendations to clients facing complex decisions is integral to my work.
My days are spent communicating complicated legal and tax concepts in an accessible manner so my clients can make informed choices to protect themselves, their families and their assets. I collaborate with other professional advisors to provide clients with an integrated approach to their planning.
When I'm not at the office, you can find me with my husband and daughter enjoying Maine including trying to keep up with my daughter skiing at Sugarloaf, waterskiing, hiking and playing golf. Our scruffy poodle, Lucy, tags along for as many family adventures as she is allowed.
We provide validated parking at the Custom House Parking Garage, located at 25 Pearl Street, Portland ME 04101. This parking garage facility is entirely automated, meaning there aren’t any people attending the entryways.
Instructions for parking validation:
Insert your credit/debit card upon entering the garage - your card will NOT be charged.
After our appointment, I’ll give you a validation ticket for you to use when you exit.
Insert the same credit/debit card you used, followed by the validation ticket. Again, rest assured that your card will not be charged. The validation ticket for the parking fee will be paid by my office.
Exit the garage onto Pearl Street.
Getting to the Sarah Coburn Law offices, located at 5 Milk Street from the garage:
Turn right on to Pearl Street when you exit the garage
Head northwest on Pearl for 138 feet
Turn left onto the first street on your left, Milk Street
Once you are on Milk Street, my building is your right, and the entry has a yellow awning over the door
Head straight down the hallway to the elevator and up to the third floor
Once off the elevator, my office is a few steps off the elevator to your left.
